Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DigsFact, Inc. ("DigsFact," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit instabud.ai (the "Site"), the marketing website for InstaBud.
This policy covers the instabud.ai website only. The InstaBud mobile app, customer portal, and reports application are governed by the separate terms and privacy notices provided within those products. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us — when you submit a contact or demo-request form we collect your name, email address, company, role, and message. If you subscribe to The Lab we collect your email address. If you take part in an interactive feature (such as a Spot Check challenge or poll), we collect your responses.
- Information collected automatically — standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interaction data, primarily through cookies and analytics tools.
Data we do not collect
InstaBud works from the property photos you choose to provide. We do not collect insurance claims data — such as claim files, policy numbers, or the personal information of policyholders or claimants — through this website, and the InstaBud service is designed not to require it.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and demo requests and communicate with you.
- To send The Lab updates and other communications you have requested.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and understand how it is used.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site and measure traffic. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage; it sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf, with IP anonymization where supported.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Disabling cookies may affect some Site features.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers — vendors who help us run the Site and communicate with you, such as our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services, including database services used by interactive features), email and list provider (SendGrid / Twilio), and analytics provider (Google). They process data only on our instructions.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DigsFact, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We treat the security of your information as a first-class priority and hold our program to recognized industry standards. DigsFact maintains a SOC 2 Type II–audited security program and follows established best practices for protecting data — including encryption of data in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, continuous monitoring, and regular security assessments.
Our SOC 2 Type II report is available to enterprise customers and qualified prospects on request, under NDA.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to data portability, and to object to certain processing. EEA/UK residents have rights under the GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
To exercise these rights, email info@digsfact.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails.
International data transfers
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites and services (including the InstaBud customer portal and reports app, and social media). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
